Ormai Hirvonen ha la vittoria praticamente in tasca. Visto il suo enorme vantaggio sul russo Evgeny Novikov, il finlandese si deve solamente preoccupare di non fare errori, e di amministrare il distacco. Intanto nella PS14 (Monte Olia 2 di 14.12 km), Ostberg ha fatto segnare ancora una volta il miglior tempo, ovvero di 10’02″6. Secondo tempo di PS per Latvala a +1″3, terzo per Solberg a +2″3, quarto tempo per Neuville a +6″9 e quinto tempo di PS per il leader Mikko Hirvonen a +10″9.
Per quanto riguarda la classifica assoluta Ogier, grazie al sesto tempo di PS, ri-sorpassa l’ australiano Atkinson, portandosi cosi in quinta posizione assoluta. Atkinson non si deve preoccupare piu di tanto, perche è si in sesta posizione assoluta ma è staccato di solamente 3″9 dal francese, anche se, come abbiamo visto, Ogier è davvero in forma in questo rally, ed è quindi possibile che non si lasci sfuggire la quinta piazza.
